Special Edition Art Collection inspired by John James Audubon and others that have depicted the beauty of birds through drawings and illustrations. I have been working on developing a process to transform my photographs into drawings for over a decade. The result is reminiscent of pen and ink drawings and stippling techniques. These detailed images highlight the timeless beauty of these birds.
North America's smallest falcon, the American Kestrel (Falco sparverius) packs a predator's fierce intensity into a small body. They perch on wires, poles, or branches, or hover facing into the wind, hunting for insects and other small prey in open territory.
