Roseate Spoonbill (Platalea ajaja): The Spoonbill's bright pink coloring leads many Florida tourists to think they have seen a flamingo, but take a closer look and you'll notice an unusually shaped bill that makes this wading bird quite distinctive. The Roseate Spoonbill uses its odd bill to strain small food items out of the water. They feeds while wading in shallow water, sweeping their bill back and forth.
