Photographic art by Dawn Currie. A solitary Anhinga with wings spread silhouetted against the waters of the Viera Wetlands.
Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to visit the wetlands. That is when the activity is at its best. There are birds that live there year-round, but the winter months are the busiest when many additional waterfowl come to town from northern climates.
