Photographic art by Dawn Currie. Gorgeous portrait of a Loggerhead Shrike (Lanius ludovicianus) against a soft bokeh background. Photographed in the River Lakes Conservation Area near Rockledge, Florida. If you love birds like I do, I recommend visiting this area and wear your hiking boots. The trails are smooth and broad. The best time to visit is early morning during the winter months.
