Special Edition Art Collection inspired by John James Audubon and others that have depicted the beauty of birds through drawings and illustrations. I have been working on developing a process to transform my photographs into drawings for over a decade. The result is reminiscent of pen and ink drawings and stippling techniques. These detailed images highlight the timeless beauty of these birds.
Mourning Doves (Zenaida macroura) tend to feed busily on the ground, swallowing seeds and storing them in an their crop. Once they’ve filled it, they can fly to a safe perch to digest the meal.
